Rare variation of the MX. It is equipped with a clock data back. The film chamber is provided with a flip-down paddle to blank out a corner of the image, where the clock image has to show up.

Rare variation of the MX, equipped with a special viewing screen with a spherical surface. A special attachment is also available for the lens flange of this camera, in order to fit it on lab equipment.
MX Medical with Zeiss Dataphot back (circa 1976)
The Zeiss Dataphot was a laboratory data back seldom seen in Asahi Pentax SPF and KX cameras. Here is an even less common combo: a MX Medical with Zeiss Dataphot back and modified Motor Drive MX with button on top of the grip.

Special package variation of the Super A, including a gold seal, a special logo strap, an AF200T flash and a special presentation box. The SMC Pentax-A 50mm f/1.7 lens also featured a special front cap with "EUROPEAN CAMERA OF THE YEAR" gold lettering This special edition camera was made on occasion of getting this 1983 award.
