The new Pentax O-WP1 underwater housing for Pentax Optio digital cameras is the ideal camera accessory for a diving vacation, at the lake, the pool or in the snow. Water-tight and impact-resistant, it protects the camera from moisture and dirt. This is especially ideal for all photo enthusiasts that enjoy scuba diving as a hobby. It is now no longer necessary to take along heavy photo equipment. All that's required for a dive is the camera the size of a pack of cigarettes and the housing. With suitable lighting conditions the O-WP1 underwater housing enables spectacular photography down to a depth of 130 ft (40 m).

But the housing is not only indispensable for (semi-)professional diving: Frequently great snapshot situations come up during outdoor winter and summer leisure activities and there's no camera for miles around. For fear of moisture or falls, or a couple of hard knocks, the camera was left in the hotel room as a precaution. Too bad about all those missed photo opportunities!

The O-WP1 underwater housing puts an end to this annoying problem. It protects the camera wherever dangers lie in wait for sensitive technology and optics. The camera is simply laid in the housing and there's nothing to prevent you from taking high-action pictures. This in no way restricts operation, as the buttons on the outside of the housing provide access to all camera functions.

Whether for underwater photography, on the beach, at the pool, or on the ski slopes – the Pentax O-WP1 underwater housing advances digital photography into completely new dimensions. It is available immediately.

The O-WP1 underwater housing is compatible with the Optio 330/430, and the successor models Optio 330RS/430RS.
